HOW TO FIND GAETA
Gaeta lies on continental Italy, between Rome and Naples (about 160 km south of Rome and 90 km north of Naples).
BY PLANE
There are very convenient low cost flights from the main European airports flying to Rome and Naples. From both of this towns there are good connecting trains to Formia, 7 km to the north of Gaeta. In front of the railway station in Formia there are busses leaving to Gaeta and stopping close to our nautical base.
Of course we can arrange for you a transfer by car from both the above mentioned airports.
The cost from Naples to Gaeta and back is Euro 220,00
The cost from Rome to Gaeta and back is Euro 240,00
The cars can carry up to 5 passengers.
BY TRAIN
From each main railway station there are fast trains leaving to Rome or Naples. From both of this towns there are good connecting trains to Formia, 7 km to the north of Gaeta. In front of the railway station in Formia there are busses leaving to Gaeta and stopping close to our nautical base.
BY CAR
Gaeta can easily be reached by motorway plus 30 km of provincial roads.
On the motorway Rome-Naples (A1/E45) take the exit Montecassino and follow for 28 km the road markings Formia and later Gaeta (S630+S7).
ONCE YOU ARRIVE IN GAETA
……..you will find Your boat moored in the old harbour of Santa Maria, under the ancient quarter called S. Erasmo.
When You enter Gaeta, coming from Formia, looking to Your left over the roadstead, You will see the end part of the town. Our moorages are there.
