ONE WEEK CRUISES STARTING FROM GAETA
Gaeta – Ponza – Ventotene – Ischia – Gaeta, ca. 135 nm
1st day-Saturday:
Arrival in Gaeta, taking over of the yacht and shopping.
2nd day-Sunday:
Set a course for Ponza Island (240°). After about 5 hours (28 nm), you will reach the island of Zanone, which you have been seeing already for many miles, where you can drop your anchor facing a white sandy beach. In the afternoon, after another hours sailing, you get to the port of Ponza, where you can either moor at the floating pontoon or anchor in the facing bay.
3rd day-Monday:
Set a course for Palmarola Island (about 7 nm) and anchoring in one of it’s many bays: «dolce far niente». Round the island (beware of the many shallows!) and at evening back to Ponza’s port or, if the weather is good or you have a southerly wind, mooring at one of the laid moorings in Cala Feola, rented by local fishermen.
4th day-Tuesday:
Swimming and snorkeling in one of the many bays of Ponza. Early in the afternoon, set a course to Ventotene Island (about 22 nm). You can moor either in the old Roman harbor – very impressive, with fresh water and 220V supply – or in the new port, usually with enough free places.
5th day-Wednesday:
Visit to one of the many bays of Ventotene (Cala Battaglia, Parata Grande, Cala Maestra, Santo Stefano Island; beware: protected area, take note of the instructions!) and, in the afternoon, head to Ischia Island, where you can make fast in the small port of Sant’Angelo (fresh water and 220V).
6th day-Thursday:
Anchor in one of the bays of Ischia or visit to the «Aphrodite’s Garden» thermal baths. In the evening, again in Ischia’s port.
7th day-Friday:
In the morning, head to Gaeta, where you will arrive at about 7 p.m.
Gaeta – Ventotene – Ischia – Capri – Procida – Gaeta, about 120 nm

2nd day-Sunday:
Set a course for Ventotene Island (195°). After about 4 hours, relax in one of the island’s many bays. In the evening you can either moor in the old Roman harbor – very impressive, with fresh water and 220V supply – or in the new port, usually with enough free places.
3rd day-Monday:
A swim in the crystal-clear water of one of the island’s many bays or visit the Roman ruins of Villa Claudia and the cisterns: In the afternoon, head to Ischia/Sant’Angelo (fresh water and 220V).
4th day-Tuesday:
Pause in one of Ischia’s bays or visit to the «Aphrodite’s Garden» thermal baths. In the afternoon, crossing to Capri (about 18 nm) and mooring at one of the transit places of Marina Grande. In the evening, a climb to the village for an apertif in the famous «Piazzetta» and a walk through the small alleys.
5th day-Wednesday:
Round Capri Island and stop in «Marina Piccola». A visit to the «Grotta Azzurra» is a must (dinghies not allowed!). In the afternoon, sail to Procida and it’s little port of Chiaioella.
6th day-Thursday:
Visit Procida in the morning. Do not miss the ancient district of Chiaioella. Short stop for a swim and back to Ischia Porto.
