Welcome to Buechi Yachting on the island of Elba

Welcome to our site. We'd like to invite you to surf through our offers and to breathe a little bit of holiday air.

Our charterbase on the Island of Elba

Elba is the biggest island of the Tuscan archipelago and has six large gulfs with wonderful anchorages lined with white beaches. Small fishing villages, lush vegetation and crystal-clear water are the main features of this unique island. It is not by chance that in the words of the British Admiralty pilot it is described  as «the largest, the richest and the most beautiful of the archipelago’s islands», followed by the motto «Here I am the King, here I can be so» (Napoleon). Elba is also an ideal starting point for cruises to Corsica, Sardinia or any of the other islands which form the Tuscan archipelago.

Panorama Enfola

The Island of Elba can easily and comfortably be reached by car using major motorways or by train. There are also many low cost airlines offering flights to Pisa, the nearest large Italian city with various travel connections to Elba.

11 december 2015 - 9.10 am - arrival at Portoferraio

After a long trip through Germany and France on a huge truck and the launching in Fréjus (South of France), “PAPILLON” arrived this morning at our charter base in Portoferraio (Island of Elba). On board the expert skipper Hugues, our technician Patrice JR and Stefan the owner of the Bavaria 46 Cruiser. The crossing had to be made under engine because in spite of the promising weather issued by several weather forecast, the wind never blow. However the crew was partially rewarded with a sunny day and a starry sky during the night. Thanks the powerful Volvo 75 HP engine and the three-bladed propeller, the crossing of 180 nm could be sailed in less than 24 hours. Now “PAPILLON” will be equipped according to the high standard as all our charter boats in order to be ready to allow our guests comfortable, fast and safe  sailing.

Discount for Mobylines and Toremar Ferries

Thanks to an agreement between Buechi Yachting and Mobylines/Toremar ferries, our guests can book the crossing between the main land and our island, to very favourable terms.
With the booking of a yacht from our fleet you will receive a discount voucher for the online booking of the ferry. The crossing last 60 minutes.

We are looking forward to meeting you soon.
